This April, NASA is bringing together some of the world’s top designers, developers, scientists and engineers from 75 cities across the world for a weekend hackthon of intense proportions! Held at the Royal Ontario Museum, on April 19 – 21, the Toronto NASA International Space Apps Challenge will consist of a hackathon with several challenges developed to focus on “real-world design challenges, and on making our planet and universe accessible, visual and fun to explore.”
Some of the outlined challenges are as follows:
- Space Station Benefits to Humanity
- EPA Earth Day Challenge
- Tour of the Moon
- Interplanetary Atlas for CubeStats
- Renewable Energy Explorer App
- ESA’s 3D Printing Contest
