AngularJS: A Brief Introduction – Alan Hietala

AngularJS is a great framework for building modular html5 based applications. With an architecture based around data binding, dependency injection, testability, and modularity AngularJS provides an excellent base to build applications both large and small. Follow along as I build a small app in 15 minutes that will give a taste of the core concepts within AngularJS and expose some of the tools used in modern javascript application development.

Alan has been working in the Toronto startup community since graduating from U of T in 2006. His main area of interest is how Javascript is breaking down barriers between mobile, web, server side and embedded applications. As a Sr. Software Developer at ecobee he tests those skills constantly while building out rich, Javascript powered mobile and web apps.
