Making mobile app updates easier for developers and users

Mobile app developers and users are constantly plagued with the task of updating their apps with bug fixes and new features. Developers have to resubmit the new app to the store, while users have to download updates as they become available. Our talk will focus on an alternative approach to this and show how an hybrid app (native and HTML5) can automatically push updates directly to users without republishing the app. Michael Siu and Raymond Tsang are partners and developers at IdeaNotion, a lean software consulting firm delivering enterprise web and mobile solutions. They are also the creators of IdeaPress, a platform that empowers the transformation of WordPress websites into mobile apps. Michael and Raymond love everything to do with mobile and cross-platform technologies and are always looking for new ways to innovate in the field.
